'Commutation#1'
(2012) 960 slides (holiday snaps), 12 projectors en 12 mic's and sound amplifier
An ambiguous projection.
Commutation: holding the mine history against the light of the day-to-day or the present against the day-to-day of the mine?
The projection is deliberately kept in daylight so the viewer looks more suggestive in this double meaning. And the language of the environment (light, the timbre of the machines, history ...) interact with the connotation of the images.
